From brief to first agent shift

How hiring our workforce works

No mystery and no demo theatre. Submit a Hiring Brief, get a written proposal, approve it, and your agents start work. Here’s the shape of every engagement we run.

The process

Five steps from idea to working agents

Most engagements move through these stages in five to ten working days for Tier 1-3 subscriptions, four to eight weeks for Tier 4 builds.

  1. You submit a Hiring Brief

A short structured form: your context, the work you want done, your preferred tier, integrations, and whether you'd rather start with a call or by email. Six fields. Five minutes.

If you don't know which tier or which agents - leave that blank. We'll suggest a shape in the proposal.

Your time: ~5 minPath: A (call) or B (email)
  2. We respond within one business day

A real person reads your brief and replies. If you chose Path A, we send a calendar link and a short agenda. If you chose Path B, we ask the first follow-up questions in writing.

What we don't do: automated holding emails, “thanks for your interest” sequences, or weeks of silence.

Response: within 1 business dayReviewed by: a human
  3. We scope the shape together

Either a 30-minute call or three to four exchanges by email. The aim: confirm the right tier, the agents, the integrations, and the timeline. No upselling, no padding.

If your brief points to a smaller engagement than you assumed, we say so. If it points to bigger - we say that too, with reasons.

Duration: 30 min callOr: 3-4 emails
  4. You receive a written proposal

One document. Scope, deliverables, agents, integrations, pricing, timeline, and the assumptions we made. If anything in the proposal would change the price or timeline, it's spelled out.

Proposals are typically two to four pages. Tier 4 build proposals run longer because the scope is broader.

    Format: 2-4 page documentSurprises: none
  5. Build kicks off on approval

For Tier 1-3, you typically see your first agent shift within five to ten working days. For Tier 4 builds, kick-off begins a defined project schedule we agreed in the proposal.

Communication during build is via your preferred channel - email, Slack, WhatsApp. No client portals to log into.

    Tier 1-3: 5-10 daysTier 4: 4-8 weeks
The four tiers

Four shapes. Pick the one that fits.

Tiers describe the size of the hire, not how good it is. A well-fitted Tier 1 outperforms an oversized Tier 3 every time.

Tier 1
Single Agent

One configured agent doing one job well. Best when the work is genuinely a single task, not a chain of tasks.

  • Best for: solo founders, single-channel support, focused tasks
  • Hosting: our infrastructure
  • Timeline: 5-7 days to first shift
Most popular
Tier 2
Team (2-3 agents)

A small team sharing memory, brand voice, and escalation. The point at which output stops needing human glue work between tasks.

  • Best for: hospitality, e-commerce, growing SaaS
  • Hosting: our infrastructure
  • Timeline: 5-10 days to first shift
Tier 3
Department (pre-bundled)

A full department with the orchestration that lets agents coordinate across two or three functions. Cross-functional by design.

  • Best for: expanding agencies, multi-function ops
  • Hosting: our infrastructure
  • Timeline: 10-15 days to first shift
Tier 4
Full Company (build)

A complete workforce deployed on your infrastructure. You're the sole Data Controller. We hand over with documentation that survives an audit.

  • Best for: regulated practices, enterprise, residency-bound
  • Hosting: your infrastructure
  • Timeline: 4-8 weeks to handover

Two deployment modes

Subscription or build. Honest about which fits.

The single biggest decision in any engagement: who runs the agents day-to-day. Subscription is simpler. Build gives you full control. Neither is universally better.

Tier 1-3 - Subscription

We run them, you use them

Agents are deployed to and operated on our managed infrastructure. We act as your Data Processor. You pay monthly or annually.

  • No infrastructure to manage on your side
  • Updates, monitoring, and support included
  • Cancellable in line with the proposal
  • Lower upfront cost, ongoing subscription

Right for most teams. The default unless data residency is a hard requirement.

Tier 4 - Build

We build, you run them

Agents are deployed to your infrastructure. After handover, you operate them. You are the sole Data Controller. You pay a project fee plus an optional support retainer.

  • Full data residency on your servers
  • Documentation that survives an audit
  • Optional support retainer for updates
  • One-off project cost, lower ongoing dependency

Right for regulated practices and teams with data residency requirements. Higher upfront commitment.

Who actually gets hired

The agent hiring metaphor, made concrete

A few questions we get asked at this point. Short, direct answers.

Are these named agents real, or are they just personas?
Both. The AI agents that inspired the catalogue are real configurations that handle live customer work for our parent agency. The personas you see on the catalogue are productised versions of those same configurations, tuned to your brand voice and your data when you hire them.
Do I name my own agent or use yours?
You name your own. Configuration is yours - the name, the tone, the introduction, the escalation rules. Our agents are ours. Your agent is your agent.
What happens when an agent doesn't know something?
It escalates. We define the escalation path during configuration: which channel, which person, what context to include. The agent does not guess. We'd rather it say “let me get the right person” than invent an answer.
Can I pause or fire an agent?
Yes. Tier 1-3 subscriptions can be paused or cancelled in line with the proposal terms. Tier 4 builds are yours to operate, including the ability to switch them off entirely.
Do agents replace people on my team?
That's a decision you make, not us. Most of our customers use agents to take routine work off the team they have, not to remove headcount. We're happy to be honest about which use cases we think point to which outcome.
What about data going to AI providers?
Conversation content goes to the model provider for inference. We use providers offering enterprise data agreements (no training on customer data, limited retention windows). Sub-processor list is in the proposal. For regulated work, Tier 4 keeps everything on your infrastructure.
